S/Sgt Walter Swiniuchowski was employed at the Kanicki Tool & Die Shop.

He enlisted in Camden, New Jersey, on 16 September 1942.

A/C 42-3328 was hit by a rocket and collided with A/C 42-3415. The tail of the plane came off and the aircraft exploded. Four crew members survived and ended up POW. The remaining 6 crew members were KIA and believed killed when the ship blew up.
