Lt Edward S. Seefeldt graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1939 and worked as a musician in the Lloyd LaBrie Orchestra.He enlisted in July 1942.
A/C #854 was hit by flak over target. Ship exploded, killing seven crew members. Two crew members survived and were taken prisoner.
