S/Sgt Henry W. Talbot attended Eastside High School and was employed at Western Union as a messenger.

He enlisted on 8 September 1942 and was sent overseas in April 1944.

A/C 871 received a direct hit by flak at the target at 1033 hours, blowing up immediately. No chutes were reported.
