Biography

Wallace, as he was called, loved to hunt and fish. He especially loved his dog, Skippy. Former classmate Lois York remembers his father attending all of his school basketball games, "I remember his dad, Ted, could always be heard cheering when Wallace would score and he would say, ‘That’s my boy!’ I don’t think Wallace appreciated it much!" “This life ends-love still goes on,” is how Regina Farrington wants future generations to remember her eldest brother, SGT John Wallace Farrington. His daughter, Marie McLaughlin, states, "All my life I’ve heard stories of what a great man my father was. All the girls loved him and all the boys wanted to be his friend. And he was a great friend and protector to all."
