1st Lt. Earl V. Bennett enlisted on 18 July 1942 in Sacramento, California.He attended 4 years of high school and was employed by a public utility company in Visalia and Hanford before he enlisted.
He went overseas in October 1944, was first wounded in action on 17 January 1945 in Belgium.
