S/Sgt Charles E. Propst graduated from Dayton High school and Dunsmore Business College.He enlisted in Charlottesville, Virginia, on 2 July 1942.
He was on his third mission.
The plane blew up before hitting the water. It had been on fire and seemed to be trying to ditch. No parachutes were reported from this plane.
