Sgt Floyd V. Sprinkle graduated from Rockfield High School and was a carpenter before he enlisted at Fort Benjamin, Indiana on 16 March 1943. He was sent overseas in June 1944.

He is remembered at the Center Cemetery in Cass County, Indiana.
