S/Sgt Price J. Nettles attended high school for three years and was a sales clerk employed by Lloyd Evans before he enlisted in Lubbock, Texas on 22 November 1940.

He was killed by small arms fire in the side of his body.

He is also remembered at the Meadow Cemetery, Terry County, Texas.
