Pfc John P. Bowlin worked on the family farm and was also employed by the Timken Roller Bearing Company before he enlisted in Cincinnati, Ohio on 29 December 1942.On 18 October 1944 he was transferred from 2nd Battalion, HQ Company to F Company.
He died of wounds in his thorax.
He is also remembered at the cemetery of his hometown.
