Pvt William H. Haglund was a student when he enlisted in Erie, Pennsylvania on 30 August 1944. He was sent overseas on 13 January 1945.He joined his unit from the 17th Replacement Battalion on 5 February 1945.
Pvt Haglund was killed by small arms fire in his thorax.
