More information

Pvt Harry C. Bower worked in a foundry before he enlisted enlisted in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on 21 December 1943. He was sent overseas on 14 July 1944.
He joined his unit from the 38th Replacement Battalion on 30 September 1944.
On 9 November 1944 he was reported lightly wounded in action when B Company attacked Craincourt and consolidated the bridgehead over the Seille River.
