Pvt Stacie L. Holcomb attended Romont High School for one year and worked on the family farm before he enlisted at Fort Thomas Newport, Kentucky on 16 March 1943.

He was killed by a bullet.

His brothers Norvell and Elzie served with the U.S. Navy.
