2nd Lt Paul J. F. Carlson attended college for three years and was an office manager at CW. Beardsley.He enlisted at Fort Devens, Massachusetts on 9 February 1942.
Lt Carlson was reported seriously wounded in action on 24 February 1945 and he died the same day of his wounds.
