Pvt Ronald W. Farber attended 2 years of high school and worked on a farm before he enlisted at Fort Logan, Colorado on 26 February 1944.

He joined his Company from the 38th Replacement Battalion on 18 September 1944.

On 27 September, he was seriously wounded in action and brought to the 647th Medical Clearing Company, were he died.
