Pfc Glenn D. Anderson graduated from Gladwin High School in June of 1936 and worked at Gladwin Flouring Mills.He enlisted on 16 March 1944 and was was sent overseas on 1 September 1944.
He was first reported as Missing in Action on 8 October 1944.
Pfc Anderson is remembered in Gladwin, Gladwin County, Michigan at Ridge Cemetery with a memorial maker which is a nearly exact copy of his grave marker at Lorraine Cemetery.
