Pfc Glenn D. Anderson graduated from Gladwin High School in June of 1936 and worked at Gladwin Flouring Mills.

He enlisted on 16 March 1944 and was was sent overseas on 1 September 1944.

He was first reported as Missing in Action on 8 October 1944.

Pfc Anderson is remembered in Gladwin, Gladwin County, Michigan at Ridge Cemetery with a memorial maker which is a nearly exact copy of his grave marker at Lorraine Cemetery.
