Pvt Winston D. Tillotson worked on a farm before he enlisted at Fort Bragg, North Carolina on 23 May 1944.He was reported seriously wounded in action and evacuated to a hospital on 25 December. At that time, his unit was engaged in the fighting in the vicinity of Kehmen.
