Pvt Leo S. Brignola was a production worker employed by the Phoenixville Iron Co. before he enlisted in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania on 6 March 1944.He was married to Dorothy Edinger on 9 March 1940.
In September 1944 he was wounded at the phalanges of his little finger. He was discharged from hospital in December 1944.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the thorax.
