Sgt Ray V. Schleicher was a trader, employed by the DRG & W Co. before he volunteered in Denver, Colorado on 19 August 1942.

From May 1944 to June 1944, he was hospitalized in Italy for wounds caused by shell fragments.

He was killed in action by shell fragments.
