Sgt Luther A. Kinsworthy was a miner employed by the Civilian Conservation Corps, before he enlisted in Houston, Texas on 18 March 1941.From November 1944 to December 1944 he was hospitalized for wounds, sustained when his vehicle hit a landmine. He returned to his unit after he recovered.
