Sgt John C. Levengood enlisted at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri on 23 June 1942.In September 1944 he was wounded in a tank accident and from March 1945 to April 1945, he was hospitalized for an object in his eye.
He was killed in action when his tank was hit by a Panzerfaust.
