Pfc Walter J. Mills graduated from the Blair Jr. High School and was a chauffeur at the Burns and Roe Inc. on the Naval Operating Base in Norfolk.He enlisted in Richmond, Virginia on 5 March 1943.
He was killed in action by shell fragments.
