Albert G. Fournier graduated from South High School and worked at the Rice Barton Corp.

He enlisted at Fort Devens, Massachusetts on 6 August 1943 and trained ad Camp Gruber, Oklahoma. He joined his unit from the 53rd Replacement Battalion on 16 August 1944.

Two of his brothers were in service when he was killed.
