Pvt Robert D. Proctor attended high school for four years.He joined the Regular Army in Los Angeles, California on 13 October 1943.
Pvt Proctor was reported seriously wounded in action on 9 January 1945 and evacuated to the 13th Field Hospital, where he died five days later. The exact location where this Field Hospital was stationed is not known.
