John J. Jagol's parents were immigrants from Kiev, Ukraine.T/5 John J. Jagol was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Draguignan, France and at the request of his family transferred to be buried next to his brother Steve.
Both brothers are remembered at the Our Saviors Cemetery in Polk County, Minnesota.
His brother Donald served with the U.S. Marines in the Pacific.
