Pfc Louis L. Cocks attended college and was a photoengraver.He enlisted in Abilane, Texas on 25 March 1943 and was sent overseas in November 1943.
His brother, Pvt Shelie, was killed in action in Italy. He is buried at the American Military Cemetery and Memorila of Florence, Italy.
