Pvt Charles D. Horn enlisted at Fort Jay, Governors Island, New York on 3 June 1942.

He was a radioman and when his radio broke down he was given a rifle. He was killed on 22 December 1944 near Luzery when his unit was in reserve near the railroad bridge.

His brother Harry R. Horn is buried next to him at Plot L, Grave 14, Row 21.
