Pvt Emanuel Fell was a cleaner before he volunteered for the Army of the United States in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 31 July 1942.

He killed in action when caught in a crossfire from two German tanks in the vicinity of Foy, Belgium.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Grand Failly, France.
