Pvt George L. Goetz immigrated from Germany in 1924. He graduated from Kenton High School in 1938 and worked as a machinist at the Ohio Machine Tool Company.He enlisted in Fort Thomas, Kentucky on 13 March 1944.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Grand Failly, France.
