More information

Aircraft was shot down by enemy fighters over the North Sea when on return from a bombing mission at Venlo airfield, the Netherlands. The body of S/Sgt Hindman washed up the beach at Brouwershafen, the Netherlands on 28 September 1944. It was buried at Haamstede 2 days later, and was reburied at Ardennes after the war.
