2nd Lt Marvin H. Mussett graduated from Memphis Tech High School in 1942. He was a teacher at Hollywood school.He joined the Air Corps of the U.S. Army Reserve in Memphis, Tennessee on 11 June 1942.
The aircraft was attacked by enemy fighters and exploded in the air. The entire crew of ten was killed and was initially buried at the community cemetery of Lemgo on 13 January 1944.
