Sgt Harley R. Eastburn was a lumberman. He enlisted in Portland, Oregon on 27 October 1942.The aircraft was attacked by enemy fighters and exploded in the air. The entire crew of ten was killed and was initially buried at the community cemetery of Lemgo on 13 January 1944.
