Edward Seaman graduated from Frackville High School in 1941.He enlisted in the in Allentown, Pennsylvania on 3 May 1943.
He joined his unit from the 41st Replacement Battalion on 1 August 1944. He was reported transferred to the 308th Medical Detachment Clearing Station due to sickness on 24 October 1944 and returning ot his unit on 28 October.
