Sebastian B. Crivello worked in a rubber plant.

He enlisted in Boston, Massachusetts on 12 November 1943.

He was lightly wounded in action on 17 July 1944 and transferred to the 128th Evacuation Hospital, for which he was awarded the Purple Heart a first time. After recovering he rejoined his unit.
