2Lt Frank R. Arrison Jr graduated from Peabody High School.He joined the Air Corps of the Regular Army in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 13 June 1941.
The airplane was shot down by German fighters. Seven crew members survived and were taken prisoner, three men were killed.
