Pvt Albert S. Smith graduated in 1943 from New Bloomfield High School and was a chauffeur, employed by Louis Lehrman & Sons.He enlisted in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania on 15 June 1944. He trained at Camp Croft, South Carolina and Fort Meade before he was sent overseas on 18 November 1944.
He was killed by small arms fire.
