Pvt Paul M. Chuchic attended college for two years and was employed by the Henry Wadsworth Bureau of Recreation before he enlisted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 15 December 1942.

He was reported lightly wounded in action on 4 December when E Company attacked Théding, France.

He died of wounds in the abdomen caused by machinegun fire.
