Sgt Ellis C. Miller attended high school for two years and was employed at the United Ice and Coal Company before he enlisted in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 3 January 1944. He was sent overseas in November 1944.He died to the effects of artillery shell fragments in his chest and buttock and hip.
He is remembered at the Upper Bermudian Church Cemetery in Huntington Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania.
