Pvt Raymond W. Cooper enlisted in Clarksburg, West Virginia on 31 January 1944.He was killed by small arms fire to the head and in his chest.
His brother, David T. Cooper, is buried at the American Military Cemetery and Memorial of Margraten, The Netherlands.
