T/Sgt Joseph A. Wilkins enlisted in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on 5 November 1942.

His aircraft was shot down by enemy aircraft and exploded in the air. The plane crashed at 1415 hours. All crew members were killed.

Joseph Wilkins was previously buried in Germany. He was reburied at the Margraten Cemetery on 18 February 1946.
