Charles Summers was a chauffeur.He enlisted at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland on 4 April 1942.
Aircraft was on a bombing mission to attack railroad yards at Emden, Germany when it exploded in mid-air at 54 20 N and 06 18 E. Five or six parachutes were sighted just before the explosion.
