Pvt William A. Cowan attended Chaffey High School and was employed at McCarter and Leighinger.He enlisted in March Field Riverside, California on 28 December 1941. He served two years in the Aleutians before being sent to the European Theater.
Pvt Cowan died in a hospital from poisoning.
