S/Sgt William T. Hoversten was a metal worker.He enlisted at Fort MacArthur, California on 29 December 1941.
He was killed by artillery fire, enroute in a truck to deliver ammunition for D Company.
He was awarded the Silver Star Medal posthumously for his action on 20 September 1944.
