Pvt William G. Gethin enlisted in Buffalo, New York on 13 May 1941.He attended Painted Post High School in Painted Post, New York. He was a tank instructor stationed with the Army at Fort Benning, Ga. Pvt Gethin was killed during Operation Market Garden.
