T/5 Oral E. Bryant attended Kokomo High School in Kokomo, Indiana. He worked for the Continental Steel Company.He enlisted at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana on 14 October 1942 was sent for training to Los Angeles, California, Camp Bowie, Texas and Camp Pine, New York.
The roster of Howard County´s dead in Word War II contains 208 names and cast in bronze as a permanent part of the John E. Turner Memorial room in the Kokomo Memorial Gymnasium, Indiana.
