S/Sgt Robert V. Moore graduated from Logan High School and Teachers College.

He joined the Air Corps of the Regular Army enlisted in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 28 October 1941 and trained at Alamodordo Air Base, New Mexico and Davis Monthan Field, Arizona. He was awarded his wings in October 1942. He was sent overseas in May 1943.

The second picture was taken in high school in 1938.

The aircraft was shot down by Fw Walter Hornburg in a BF-110G-2 of ZG 1/1. It exploded in the air.

Two crew members were taken prisoner, eight were killed.
