Pfc Harold L. Martz attended Conventry High School and was a sales clerk.

He enlisted at Fort Hayes Ohio on 3 March 1943 and was sent overseas in June 1944.

At the place where the battle for Arbrefontaine was fought, is a statue to honor the fallen of F Company.
