S/Sgt Louis M. Cook attended local school and was employed at New Departure plant of General Motors.He enlisted in Hartford, Connecticut on 16 November 1942 and trained at Fort Riley, Kansas and and Camp Polk, Louisiana. He was sent overseas in August, 1944.
S/Sgt Cook was taken prisoner around 18 December 1944 and died at Stalag VII-A.
