Pfc Niles G. Gee was sent overseas in December 1944.

Pfc Gee died of wounds on 14 April 1945 which he had received the day before. The exact location where he died is not known. At the time he was reported wounded in action, his unit was engaged in the fighting in the vicinity of Weissenfels, Germany.
