Pvt Arthur La Tour attended Mount Assumption Insititute and worked for the Plattsburgh Ice Company. He enlisted on 13 March 1942 and was sent to Camp Polk, Louisiana and Fort Benning, Georgia. He was went overseas in April 1944.He is commemorated on a monument unveiled in Ospel, the Netherlands on 6 November 2019 in memory of the American soldiers who fell during the liberation of the town.
