2nd Lt Victor Caston attended Stuyvesant High School in New York and graduated from Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles in 1939. He attended college for two years. He was employed at Lockheed Aircraft CorporationHe was killed on 18th March 1945 in the territory of the municipality of Goncourt during a terrible tragedy That day, a few minutes after takeoff from the airbase of Beauvais-Tillé for a mission over Germany, the B-26 "Marauder" in which he was flying crashed, caught by the blast of the explosion of two other "Marauders" which collided whilst getting into formation.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Solers, France.
